This compact TACO Solid Adjustable Die head meets the demand for that will swing in a small space, particularly on machines having very limited tooling room.

It provides close-to- shoulder threading and is ideal for short-length threading.

Style DJ Die Heads Saves Money

The first cost of this Head is little more than the cost of a conventional solid die, particularly in larger sizes. However, one Model TDJ will cut a wide range of different diameters and pitches through the use of inexpensive removable chasers. Right and Left Hand threads can be cut with equal ease, using separate chasers for left hand threads. Bear in mind that each set of chasers can be adjusted to the particular class of fit required. Money can also be saved through the fact that Chasers can be easily removed & re-sharpened.

Positive Locking Assured

A common complaint against Solid Adjustable Die Heads is that they often change size under rapid reversal. You’ll never have this trouble with the Model TDJ. Big, sturdy adjusting screws seat themselves firmly, deep down in the skeleton on broad seating surfaces.

Modular Shank

This Solid Adjustable Die Heads, Model TDJ has modular shanks. These modular shanks can be easily removed and fitted with new size shanks as per your requirements.
