Magnetic Bases
These Eclipse units are primarily for holding dial gauge indicators.
Models MAG900/1/3/8 are equipped with a push button 'on/off' control.
The base and two sides are energised for attachment to flat surfaces
and a vee slot in the top face facilitates gripping on curved
surfaces.

Magnetic Holder
A compact unit housing powerful Alcomax permanent magnets. Incorporating
plain and vee'd faces, it is equally effective in securing iron
and steel sheets, bars or tubes. The vee'd faces will accommodate
pipe diameters up to a maximum of 3 inches (76mm) but the capacity
may be increased to 6 inches (152mm) if suitably machined by
the customer. Also useful for handling work.

Magnetic Positioner
This tool embodies the flux control advantages of the Eclipse
Magnetic Holder and the flexibility of the Magnetic Adjustable
Magnetic Link. It possesses high magnetic performance and, in
addition to the multi-angle feature it is also capable of holding
round sections by incorporating vee'd faces as well as plain.

Magnetic Mitre Clamps
Eclipse Magnetic Mitre Clamps provide the welder with a simple
and inexpensive means of clamping components. The plain-ended
clamps are intended for use with plates and the vee'd face clamps
for bars and tubes up to 57mm (2 ¼ inch) diameter. Mitre
clamps do not switch off but can be easily levered away from
workpieces.

Magnetic Quick Clamps
Designed to enable fast and accurate holding of ferrous metals
for welding and assembly jobs. It will hold both sheet and tube
at angles of 180°, 90°, 75°, 60°, 45° and
30°.
Catalogue No. | Dimensions (mm) | Pull (kg) | Weight (kg) |

Magnetic Variable Clamp
This clamp is designed for the quick and accurate holding of
ferrous sheet and tube for welding and assembly jobs. It is infinitely
variable from 25° to 280° enabling any angle within this
range to be set and copied. The main angles of 90°, 60°,
45° and 30° are marked for quick reference.

Magnetic Adjustable Link
The Eclipse Magnetic Adjustable Link is a twin unit possessing
a multi-angle capability. It can be quickly locked at any angle
by the turn of a wing nut. By using the links in multiple, the
most complex arrangement of sheets and strips can be firmly and
easily secured for welding. They are ideal for holding work in
confined spaces because they are compact in size. Blocks can
also be used singly as the basis for jigs.

Heavy Duty Fixed Clamps
These clamps comprise two magnetic arms fixed at 90°. They
are designed for applications where greater holding force is
required and are ideal for supporting pipes, plates and tubes
where a right angled joint is required. The small magnetic element
is fixed in a non-magnetic casing to minimise stray magnetic
fields, thus reducing the possibility of attracting weld spatter.
The large clamp is equipped with two cam levers to assist removal from workpieces.

Heavy Duty Variable Clamp
This robust unit comprises two magnetic arms on a pivot. It may
be set at any angle from 45° to 90° marked in 15°
increments. The selected angle is set simply by tightening a
wing nut. Each magnetic element is fixed in a non-magnetic casing
to minimise stray magnetic fields, thus reducing the possibility
of attracting weld spatter.

Earth Welding Clamp
Designed to provide effective earthing on large welding jobs where a croc-clip or G-clamp cannot easily be used. This magnetic clamp also allows quick and easy earthing for most steel welding jobs.
The earth cable is secured by a wire-rope grip clamp, providing secure hold for both round and flat cables. This clamp can be used with welding sets generating up to 350 amps.

A magnet designed for recovery work in all types of applications.
Constructed in steel and Ferrite, this magnet can exert a maximum
pull of 50kg.

Magnetic Plate Drag
This powerful magnetic 'drag' is manufactured from Ferrite magnets.
It enables the quick and safe lifting and transportation of steel
sheets. The grip is also used as a lever for disengaging the
workpieces.

Magnetic Floaters
Eclipse Magnetic Floaters are devices for automatic separation
of steel sheets. They operate by the mutual repulsion of workpieces
magnetised identically by permanent magnets. The uppermost sheet
floats in the air.
Magnetic Floaters are generally auxiliaries to major machine tools and as such should be integrated fully into the work flow systems of these machines. The two main attitudes of flotation are horizontal and vertical. Small and narrow sheets are generally floated horizontally. Larger sheets are floated vertically.
