A general purpose puller that eliminates many specialty pullers and accessories such as: Harmonic Balance Puller, Battery Terminal Puller, Steering Wheel Puller, Power Steering and Alternator Pulley Pullers, Differential Side Bearing Puller, Brake Drum Puller, Timing Gear Puller, and Pitman Arm Puller

With Posi Lock pullers, the revolutionary Safety Cage® design enhances safety and efficiency while reducing downtime and cost.

THE ISSUES

Conventional removal methods using floppy jaw pullers often require two operators, and can be time- consuming and slow. Traditional jaws tend to have a poor grip on work surfaces and can snap back at the operator, making removal frustrating and difficult. This can render the equipment inoperable and under repair for longer than necessary, leading to loss of income for the company.

OUR SOLUTIONS

Posi Lock pullers feature a patented Safety Cage® jaw retention system. It provides effortless pulling power, and has a no slip feature that prevents wear and tear on the components removed.

Posi Lock advantages over the traditional puller:

  • Clamps onto failed bearing surfaces, eliminating the need to pull from behind the race
  • Clamps onto the narrow slot on different side carrier bearings for easy removal
  • Can remove a hub or sleeve where no pulling surface is available
  • Easily removes armature bearings, pulleys, and couplings from electric motors
  • Removes steering link arms by clamping on rounded link arm to form holding action
  • Clamps on tapered or rounded surfaces on a pulley V-groove quickly and easily
  • Removes flanges and impellers quickly on water pump and other repair
  • Removes vibration dampeners by clamping on cap screws
